Open WhatsApp store in the merchant dashboard. The page includes a live customer preview and separate controls for welcome text and phone numbers. Save each group after editing it, then test the shopping link.

Customize the customer greeting

The Welcome message section controls the first message after a customer sends your store code, the store greeting, and an optional promotion line. You can leave the promotion line empty when you are not running a campaign. The preview shows how the text will appear. Keep this copy short and clear. The editor does not allow links, phone numbers, or payment instructions in the welcome text; customers shop and pay through the Payam flow, and the contact number is displayed separately. Select Save and reopen the preview to confirm the change.

Set the right numbers

  • Notification number: Receives order alerts and can manage orders. Changing it requires verifying the new number with a one-time code (OTP). Make sure the person monitoring it can receive that code and future alerts.
  • Customer contact number: A number shoppers can message directly. It appears at the end of orders. This can be the same as the notification number or another business number.
If alerts go to the wrong person, check the notification number first. If shoppers cannot reach you, check the customer contact number. After changing either, place a test order from the shopping link and verify the customer-facing message and merchant alert.
