Open Settings → Notifications. These settings control operational alerts to your business. They are separate from the phone and email displayed to shoppers under Settings → General.

Verify recipients

The Order notification number receives WhatsApp order alerts and operational updates. The Order notification email receives email alerts. To change either, enter the new destination and complete the verification-code step. Keep the destination monitored by someone who can act on an order. The WhatsApp customer contact number is configured separately in WhatsApp store.

Choose events and channels

In Order notifications, select the events you want: New order, Payment received, Order cancelled or refunded, and Low stock. In the channels section, turn WhatsApp alerts and Email alerts on or off for the verified destinations. The page also offers a Weekly performance summary and shows In-app notifications. After saving, check the recipient and channel settings together. An enabled event cannot reach a destination that has not been verified or whose channel is disabled. Use a controlled test order to confirm an alert reaches the expected person.
