# Product variants and inventory

> Sell sizes, colors, and other options with their own prices and stock.

Use variants when a product comes in choices such as size or color. Open **Products → All products**, then add or edit a product and find **Variants** in its form.

1. Select **Add option** and name the choice, such as **Size**. Enter its values, such as **Small** and **Large**.
2. Add another option if needed. Payam generates a variant for each combination of option values.
3. Review each variant's active switch, image, SKU, selling price, cost price, and discount price in the variants table.
4. Review the product's **Track stock** setting and the quantities or low-stock settings that apply to your product type.
5. Save the product and check its listing in the sales channels where it is published.

Changing an option or its values changes the set of combinations. Review the generated rows before saving so every variant has the intended price and availability. An inactive variant should not be offered to shoppers.

For a large catalog, **Products → All products** also provides **Import**, **Export**, and **Bulk edit**. Review imported rows, categories, variants, prices, and warnings before publishing them.
