# Manage POS transfer accounts

> Set the bank details shown when a cashier records a transfer payment.

Open **In-store POS → Transfer accounts** in the merchant dashboard. These accounts are the choices offered during a POS bank-transfer checkout. Keep the list limited to accounts your business actually uses at the till.

To add an account, enter an **Account label** that cashiers will recognize, select the **Bank**, and enter the ten-digit **Account number**. Payam verifies the bank details and displays the **Account name**. Check that name before saving. To change an account, open it from the list and select **Save changes** after verification. Remove an outdated account using the delete action and confirmation.

Before a cashier accepts a transfer, they should select the intended account and verify incoming funds using your business procedure. Recording a transfer in POS should follow confirmation that the payment reached the right bank account. If verification fails in the form, recheck the bank and number rather than entering an unverified replacement.

This list is separate from the payout bank account under **Settings → Payouts**, which receives Payam settlements. See [Configure POS checkout and security](https://help.payam.africa/merchants/pos-settings.md) for enabling bank transfer as a checkout method.
