# Finance and settlements

> Review sales money, pending payouts, settlement history, and your payout account.

Open **Finance** for money from online and WhatsApp sales and settlements paid to your bank. The page contains an overview, a payout account card, and settlement history.

Use the overview to inspect pending payout information. In **Settlement history**, search or filter by status, then select a settlement to open its detail. Keep the settlement reference when asking support about a specific transfer.

Your bank account is managed under **Settings → Payouts**. Review that page when your account changes or a settlement cannot be matched to your bank records. Some changes may require verification shown in the dashboard.

Finance is permission controlled. If you see **You don't have access to Finance**, ask the store owner for the Finance permission. For a payment or payout question, send [Payam support](mailto:support@payam.africa) your store name and the relevant order or settlement reference. Do not send a password or full card number.

## Reconcile a settlement

Filter **Settlement history** to **Pending** or **Paid**, then open a row for the settlement detail and its entries. Compare the reference, amount, and date with your bank record. **Pending payout** shows the balance awaiting settlement; **Paid this month**, **Total paid out**, and **Last payout** summarize previous transfers. A sale on the Orders page and a paid settlement are different stages, so use both records when tracing money.

If a payout account must be changed, go to **Settings → Payouts** and follow the verification or unlock steps presented there. Check the current account card before submitting the replacement. Keep the settlement reference when contacting support about a discrepancy.
